Lucid dreaming can have more to do with visualizing the possibilities. There’s a great quote from Waking Life that touches on exactly this:

The trick is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams. Because, if you can do that, you can do anything.

Lucid dreaming lets you see how obtainable those dreams can be.

Another one in the US is The Getty in LA. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out and also has an appearance in a ton of media, including the final shootout in GTA V. It was really surreal getting to walk through the place having seen it so many times before.

GCODE is simple to pick up the basics if you have any familiarity with 3D coordinates and many colleges will offer a fast-track course for around $2-3k. Depending on the area, some shops will even cover this cost while you’re starting.

Fuck that. Any advert in a public space that gives you no choice whether you see it or not is yours. It’s yours to take, re-arrange and re-use. You can do whatever you like with it. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head.

You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don’t owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission, don’t even start asking for theirs.

It’s not enough to just block them on your own computer. Ads are literally everywhere and pretty much inescapable unless you’re a forest hermit living on the land.

It took me over 6 years after my first serious relationship to really start figuring myself out and getting in tune with who I really was. I’m definitely still on the path and I realize more and more why my last relationship ended. It really was the best thing for me at the time.

My dad raised me on this. If don’t see yourself worthy of love from even yourself, you’ll never be able to accept it from someone else. Healthy love is mutual. Also, this ties back into the idea that if you don’t see yourself worthy of love, it means you need to work on yourself until you do rather than trying to fill that gap with someone else.

I was able to build a desktop capable of 4k60 for around $1500, and I overbuilt in places. You can definitely do okay at $1000 or less if you’re aiming for lower resolutions these days.

This sounds interesting, but fuck off with this nonsense. There is nothing “locked down” in SteamOS.
