The general movement and flight mechanics look weak, it also just feels soulless. I’d have to watch again to give you a better answer but that was my cut reaction sense they allowed creators to make videos of it

I could put them in my parents house but then I couldn’t solve technical problems physically. That’s a good idea.

Thanks for the suggestion! You running containers?

I run one huge media server, one backup, three mini optiplex server (one public, private, and local), and one off site.

  • Is there a cheap Pi or something similar I could bring for the optiplex servers and then just let go of the others until I'm back?
  • Do I just throw everything in a VPS except for local stuff?

Thanks for your opinion! I will get the first one and checked it out. Did you watch the second yet?

Beekeeper cracked me up so fricken much. To bee or not to bee is hilarious.

Idk what material science is but it doesn’t sound like nutrition.

As someone getting their PhD I know a lot about my very specific sub topic in a very small field but that’s it. Who even has time to really know anything else? So point being highly educated people can still be bozos though they should have better research skills.

I don’t buy the written or video reviews sadly, the game looks awful :(

Thanks! Seems that would be done with a card though? So seems the problem still exists somewhat

As a Buddhist it definitely varies like any religion. There are some bozo temples out there

How do you buy the crypto?

You’re giving me flashbacks to a doctor in Tokyo sticking a camera into my bladder and saying it was beautiful. I yahooed it, cameras are 9mm. It was hell. At least I got you best ya weirdo

Can’t you just lie on the info?

Fallacy fallacy

Lol

I’m writing my PhD and sometimes feel like I’m losing my mind trying to balance home and work tasks, thesis tasks, personal and household habits, and potential connecting these to notes. I really struggle if everything isn’t in one place I can’t keep track of it.

I’ve been using Beaverhabits for habits, Baikal for Caldav connected to iPhone reminders and Thunderbird tasks, and memos and trilium for notes. I also, use a notebook for daily stuff and move it over to digital if it isn’t finished by 5.

Any recommendations? I would really appreciate it. I enjoy thinking about how to do and manage work efficiently but also need a firm system.

On mastodon you can easily read Pixelfed and Lemmy. Is that the best option? Can Lemmy not do the same?

I understand America's history of poor treatment of minorities but what has caused many liberal white people to casually talk as if they aren't white.

Some examples:

  • A friend has an eastern European neighbor move in. He says he's glad they are that instead of American white.
  • Feeling they are individually responsible for what their ancestors and/or rich and politically affluent white people did in the past.
  • Acting as if white people anything is bad.
  • Making jokes at their own expense but won't dare say the same thing to another ethnicity.

I don't mean this post as a worm-brained right wing or political discussion, but just seeking to understand this odd internalized behavior I've seen recently.

Rule 3: Avoid controversial topics (politics or societal debates come to mind, though we are not saying not to talk about anything that resembles these). There’s a guide in the protocol book offered as a mod model that can be used for that; it’s vague until you realize it was made for things like the rule in question. At least four purple answers must apply to a “controversial” message for it to be allowed.

I really don't mean this to be about politics but about how people act!

Edit Thanks for the report @[email protected] I tried not to frame this in a controversial manner.

It's starting to feel just like any old social media/forum but with less users...

Obviously if public the material would be important. But private, only over ssh or vpn? Free internet, power, and backup!

Inspired by this comment to try to learn what I'm missing.

  • Cloudflare proxy
  • Reverse Proxy
  • Fail2ban
  • Docker containers on their own networks

Another concern I have is does it need to be on a separate machine on a vlan from the rest of the network or is that too much?

I was using protonmail for my custom domain for work and private emails but now I think mailbox has better options, providing way more custom domain emails. Wondering what the best use case is? Thinking of using my own domains instead of proton. I have this one and my name.

Using [email protected] or [email protected] is fun and easy but is it private? These companies already know my name so is using my work website domain okay?

Current emails

Sorry idk if this is the right place to ask.

Struggling with retrieving my offline emails!

Changed the server info and password but email is the same.
