the tldr is that i have this one game that only likes xbox controllers, and steam input doesnt work to fix it

I think sc-controller should be able to do that. It was originally developed for the Steam Controller. But as far as I know it works with others as well.

Steam Input should be able to make a dualsense work for basically any steam game. Have you tried this controller in another Steam game? I'm wondering if the mod is the problem.

Haven't done this myself, but supposedly you can do it with xboxdrv using the "--mimic-xpad" flag

@Blisterexe Get a Mayflash Magic NS-Lite, configure it as XInput and pair your DS Controller with it. Works like a charm for me.

thats a good idea, but im not willing to spend money to be able to play one game with a controller

that is only for windows, as the title of the sub suggests i am on linux
