this is a Safari message to disable its advanced filtering protection, which can slow down sites.
The developer of StopTheMadness suggests to disable it completely in Safari settings:
Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.

It is. I hate Meta, but this isn’t them. This appears on any site that isn’t loading properly.
I’ll third this. I get this message on just about every website.
I will once again shill for Proxigram (not my project), the only? remaining FOSS instagram frontend. You can try it out on one of the public instances.
I'm not entirely sure if it supports opening Instagram links though.
Anybody wire up a Proxigram to Fedi scraper for various accounts?
Public safety, fire department and several others I miss, NOAA, earthquake etc...
Seriously, I also would appreciate that so much if it’s a thing
Oh cool I've been using imginn
Thats safari, not instagram. you might see that on any other website
I’m not so sure that’s an Instagram message and more an iOS thing. I’ve seen it before and I’ve never used Instagram. It happens on many sites.
Oh shit - good to know!
You should reduce yourself from Instagram
That’s how you know the privacy protections are working. Meta won’t let you in if they can’t identify you well enough to sell your data.
The Reddit app won’t load anything when I have my VPN on. I have to turn it off to login to Facebook or Instagram, but once I turn it back on works
I think you should stop using Instagram.
It's a transaction:
Your privacy for access.
Quiet part out loud.
I think these privacy protections should not plain out block data from sites like Facebook and or instagram, they should just feed them bogus nonsense data.
That is what the Ad Nauseum extension does: "AdNauseam works to complete the cycle by automating ad clicks universally and blindly on behalf of its users. Built atop uBlock Origin, AdNauseam quietly clicks on every blocked ad, registering a visit on ad networks' databases. As the collected data gathered shows an omnivorous click-stream, user tracking, targeting and surveillance become futile."
I think the privacy protection is fixing the issues.
Yep, the addon is working as expected.
You know when something is free on the internet, you are the product
It will resolve the issues Instagram has with successfully invading your privacy. It never said anything about resolving the issues viewing the page.
You could go Fossdroid
