I don't know if you'd call that skeuomorphism, and we have icons that are similar.

I'm not sure what you would call the opposite of 'flat' in terms of these designs, but I think that's what you're referring to.

Bernie would have won.

I blame everyone who voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 primary for our 2 Trump presidencies and so should you.

Yeah, that's about the response I would expect from someone like you.

Gonna block you now. You need to spend less time on these forums to fix your worldview.

That's not true.

You should spend more time off of these forums so you don't have such a myopic view of the world.

That would be nice.

Americans have proven that they don't want anything that reduces the disparity in wealth, though.

That's why democrats nominated Hillary Clinton instead of Bernie Sanders in 2016, resulting in a Trump presidency. I also think that if Trump didn't win in 2016, he wouldn't have had a better chance in 2020 or 2024. So I actually blame 2 Trump presidencies on the people who voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democrat Primary.

That's not at all what I'm suggesting and this isn't specific to fascism.

Greed and unchecked entitlement is what made America what it is today. As long as people can't see past their own wealth, these problems will continue to perpetuate. This generation is proud to take advantage of others and envies those who get rich off of exploitation.

Framing it as a culture war instead of a class war helps contribute to the steady decline of America.

Edit: The fact that you immediately jumped to 'fascism' instead of 'greed' or the growing disparity in wealth further proves my point that these problems will not be solved in our lifetime. We're not even looking in the right direction at this point.

Everyone reading this right now should recognize that America will be on a steady decline for the rest of our lives.

There's no point in waiting for it to improve. There's no point in waiting for it to fall.

Just accept that it is a trend that will not end while we are still living. Don't waste your life waiting for the day that never comes.

I've noticed shitty men have it too easy. It's a cultural problem centered around what we value.

I'm interested in something that games and front-ends can implement in order to play online and connect with friends, independent of the actual front-end in use.

This would allow gamers to connect without being reliant on companies' stores.

Is there such a thing? Are there any discussions about creating one?

I don't want to be notified everytime I get a reply to one of my posts. Is there a way to turn this off?

I want to install Debian directly onto my USB drive. Is there an easy way to do this directly without having to reboot to run the installer?

I have one of those basic motor kits you can buy off of Amazon. I was wondering what steps I should take to make it so that I can turn the motor on/off with the press of a button, wirelessly.

I'm still very new, so any information you can offer no matter how basic will probably be useful to me.

The controller I'm using shuts off after about 5 minutes of idle time. I tried adjusting the value in Steam, but it doesn't have any effect.

Does anyone know where this value may be stored or how I can change it to be much longer?

I use it all the time and have for years. Just seems like a weird feature to lock behind about.config and say it's not supported while they still support things like Pocket.
