Don't try to catch a falling knife

Installing a hadoop cluster across 5 machines. I wouldn't say I fixed it, but I made it so it wouldn't collapse until long after I'd left that company.

If that's the case, then a bad actor could spam someone's phone with notifications. All they'd need is a username.

Or, like my mum, you don't read what the notification says and just hit 'OK'. Now you've let someone into your account without realising

How does this work with checking my emails on a public computer in a library, for example? Somehow my private key needs to be shared with the library pc?

This post is laughable. I like Linux, it's very powerful, but it's like trying to daily drive a kit car. Shit falls apart constantly, and you need to be ready to dive into the guts of it to fix it. I wouldn't expect the people in accounting, or marketing, or whatever to be willing or able to do that.

Yes it's free, but how much will you spend in training, lost productivity due to down time, increased cost of IT time fixing everything?

Compile your own kernal, or build your own OS??? What a batshit idea. No company I have ever worked at would see that as a good use of time or money.

People just want to use simple tools that they are familiar with. That is Windows and Office.

Hi there! Can the hide NSFW toggle hide the posts themselves, not just the post contents. I'm afraid to browse All anywhere other than at home because the post titles explicit enough.

Thank you!
