RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on [email protected]
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

MODERATORS

I remember I was at my uni library and I learned from a tweet of the health ministry that schools and unis are shutdown for the foreseeable future. I immediately went home early.

I remember telling my siblings "Meh this will probably last a week or so". lol in hindsight.

Upvote for you, I didn't mean to offend and suggest camping itself was bad, only that it's not for me. Even in a few days things can change. For my part I had just started a few days into a week of vacation from work and the news hit, and I wondered if I'd have a job to go back to.

Not sure what voting has to do with it, this is not Reddit and there is no karma around these parts. I haven't voted on the matter, but I can say that your response seemed incongruous at best.

As far as having a job or not, that's nothing to do with camping and outdoor activities, that's to do with poor working conditions and entirely caused by your employer.

You have the right to be happy and healthy and if your workplace scares you to the point where you're afraid to go outside, you seriously need to look for a different employer.

I was trying to be nice, as it sounded like I hit a nerve when I was just conversing (literally the community name). You didn't understood my point on my own situation, but we'll just leave this as a total misunderstanding on my replies to avoid any more conflicts.

Have you considered that not everyone is out to get you?
