'After 72 hours without power in Israel – it will be uninhabitable,' says CEO of company overseeing electrical systems.

Israel is utterly unprepared for a war with Hezbollah and for the toll such a conflict could take on the country's power infrastructure, the CEO of a company that manages and oversees Israel's electrical systems on behalf of the government said on Thursday.

"We are not ready for a real war. We live in a fantasy world, in my eyes," said Shaul Goldstein, head of Noga – the Israel Independent System Operator. Later, in an interview with Kan Public Broadcaster, he seemed to walk his comments back somewhat: "I said irresponsible things. I shouldn't have."

"If Nasrallah decides to paralyze Israel's power grid, he only needs to pick up the phone and call the head of Beirut's power grid, which is [technically] identical to Israel's." Goldstein said, before noting that "the upside is that we have invested a lot in protection, working together with Israel Electric Company."

The principle of being racist scumbags?

They don't even say they're sorry. Israel is entirely unapologetic about committing genocide because it knows the west fully backs what Israel is doing.

Sure it's a different problem, but chances of fatal accidents in cars are already significantly higher than in commercial air travel now. And same argument applies to planes.

What makes car automation so difficult is the fact that you have to account for human drivers and pedestrians. Flight automation might actually be an easier problem if all the vehicles are autonomous from the start and communicate with each other. You're also not flying bumper to bumper the way you drive on a road, so you have a much wider margin for collision avoidance.

Completely agree, the advantage of western approach is that it creates an illusion of freedom and since people want to believe that their society is free, they tend to choose to believe it.

Public opinion manipulation becomes very evident when it's visualized. You can see the opinions quickly invert as the media narrative changed from positive to negative here

The real tragedy is that most people don't realize just how much their views are being manipulated and how easy it is to do that. People think themselves as being rational and informed, and that they couldn't possibly fall for cheap propaganda tactics. Yet, as the chart above clearly shows their views can be shifted from their current position to a completely opposite one in a very short time span.

Really should take your own advice here, cause you're drowning in copium bud. Once you accept that you live in a despotic regime that's a danger to the whole world maybe you can start doing something about it.
