two words that are spelled exactly the same

Social and Socialism are not spelled the same, neither are Democracy and Democratic.

I simply said I supported democratic socialism

So you said that you support the regime of extreme global inequality against the third world in order to maintain treats in the first.

Which Communist regimes would say are the "real" communists? Because if you think (as many do) that every single mass movement that described itself as "communist" was bad, then I suspect you're not a communist at all.

You misunderstand. When liberals violently overthrow the aristocracy, that's a liberation movement. When socialists violently overthrow the capitalists, that's authoritarian tankie red fascism.

Is climate change an American plot to change Russian weather so that they will finally lose a land war? soviet-hmm

I feel the same way. I think it's just because the TNG films wanted to turn Picard into Kirk and frankly Patrick Stewart can't carry an action scene (neither can any of the rest of the TNG crew tbh). The TNG cast would have been perfect to do a plot about space whales or a dangerous anomaly flying towards Earth, but they kept trying to do The Wrath of Khan instead.

Also a pox on everyone who says that Motion Picture or The Search for Spock are bad.

Market forces on their own produce many if not all of the perverse incentives of capitalism. Only a centrally planned economy, built on a foundation of grassroots democracy, can hope to overcome those incentives by doing economic planning with an eye towards future sustainability and quality of life, rather than towards profitability.
