As a non realistic version, have you played timber born? It's about beavers making dams and towns, but very much not realistic.

It's a very dumb joke , making fun of a dumb tv show call the good doctor. The writers decided to write a show about a young autistic surgeon, and also decided that his only personality trait would be being a surgeon. There is a scene where he is fired, has a mental breakdown and keeps yelling " I am a surgeon".

Mostly a dumb joke, making fun of writers who wrote the main character of a show based solely of one idea, with no character at all.

I think it's stupider than that. They have no idea how a handmade gun could be built without a 3d printer. They probably have zero clue what a 3d printer actually can and cannot do, and I'd bet most politicians have never seen one or bothered to understand it before regulating it. Their sole exposure is a few loud people who also do not understand anything about guns or 3d printers, and confuse that lack of understanding with definitive proof that it is evil and should be banned.

I know exactly why you never see UFOs. Turns out, humans are pretty good at identifying flying objects.

I recently moved to the USA, from the middle east. My English is pretty good, and I don't have a lot of trouble communicating with people at work or in stores. I also don't know anyone here at all, outside of work. All my family is still back in Gaza, and I've been here over a year now, and still feel cut off from American people and culture.

How do you make friends and socialize here? How do I learn more about America and Americans culture? I know a bit about history, but not much about anything else.
I don't drink or go to bars, for religious reasons. I have joined a couple of clubs based on hobbies, but still feel disconnected. I'm not sure how you socialize or meet new people here, in my family everyone came around your house all the times of the day, and here it seems like neighbors just stick to themselves. I don't want to bug people or anoy them if that is not the customs here.

Also, what are your favorite parts of American culture and history? So far I have enjoyed Nascar and monster trucks very much, and studying mathematics.
