It feels like a... trojan issue

It's because the sites refuse to police misinformation in any form. You want attention on that, you have to say something that someone in charge of that cares about. Falsely reporting their death is an easy, legal and fun way to make a content moderator or site owner or CEO pause and say "hey wait a minute"

Relatively simple actually, without copyright. Download Spotify, rename app to Spudify, re-upload to app store. Done, easy peasy. Hardest part about it would be decompiling the existing app, which is definitely possible and may not even be necessary.

The real truth is, however, that in this hypothetical world there would be no Spotify to copy and there would be much, much less music available to stream on Spudify.

I've played like 60 games and barely have any idea wtf is going on, good luck lmao

My advice is to pick something relatively low impact like janitor or bartender if it's available and just try and hang out and see what happens. Or just be an assistant but people tend to ignore you or grief you if you're assistant. Some of the more complex roles, if you're interested in trying them, such as engineering or botany, are greatly benefited by figuring out how to host a private server to log on to and practice outside of a real game. Medical, at least as of a couple years ago when I last played, is pretty formulaic and as long as you know what operation you need to perform and have the supplies to do it, you can just follow a wiki page recipe.

Don't trust sec, don't trust the clown, if anyone outside of your departnent is being exceptionally nice to you they're probably going to stuff your corpse in a locker 20 minutes from now if you don't help them kidnap HoP. Learn to be robust. Rules (both social, and actual game rules and code) will differ, sometimes greatly, depending what server you're currently on, but reading the Goonstation wiki should give you approximate knowledge of most things.

If you roll antagonist, God be with you, and know that we've all royally bungled many an antag objective, most especially when new. Just try to have as much fun as you can, the points don't matter anyway.

SFM has been the patron saint of shitpost videos for decades. It has a certain je ne sais quoi that's not easily replicated, you can always tell when something has been made in SFM and I think it's become a part of the DNA of that subset of memes.

And you don't know what a source is.

The Service Weapon was awesome. It's got an intense sort of gravity around it. Hell, the first interaction with it is fighting a battle of wills in order to not shoot yourself in the head with it. The gun itself doesn't look all that impressive but I do think it's neat enough, and if you look at it from the perspective of the Service Weapon being a character in the story of Control, it's really, really cool.

You're still getting scammed it's just less immediately obvious

It would also help if I were served ads that even attempt to approach the vicinity of my own interests. That is vanishingly rare.

Yeah but we got all the dys without any of the topia. I was promised high quality prosthetics, neon blinkenlights, and the right to bear arms. We've got like 15% of the appropriate level of any of those.

The Mouse isn't dead, he is risen anew. Freed from the shackles of his creators, he is now more powerful than he could ever have hoped to be before. The mighty tremble beneath the footsteps of old Steamboat Willie. He is a living sign of a new era, one in which it is possible to strike back against his old captors.

Reminds me of OpenMW for Morrowind being listed as "OpenMicrowave" on the Google app store
