Yes, because they understand what a threat to their own existence Trump is. They are doing it out of self interest.

David Duke just likes Jill Stein's views lmao.

That's so far my favorite part of the community. I pretty much exclusively browse the "everything across all instances" thing and a handful of names have become really recognizable over the last few weeks.

You're missing out on seeing them getting roasted for saying tater tots are bad. 🤷

I have been really, really enjoying the reworked Wayfinder. The story is ass but the visuals, gameplay and music are all awesome. The characters are likable, the build variety is pretty great, and the devs seem to be pretty in touch with the community lately. I never played it in its MMO state, but for $20 it's a real win.

I think the 1.0 release comes out in a few days, too!

I think this is my favorite comment I've read on Lemmy so far.

That my dad cared about or respected me. After a family dinner, my wife asked me if he always talked about me like that and it just kind of clicked. Things like telling my kid, "If you play too many video games, they'll melt your brain like your dad" or "why would anyone pay you that much" when I told them that I broke a six figure salary. She made me realize that this wasn't normal and I didn't have to sit there and listen to it just because of who he is.

I haven't spoken to him or really any of my side of the family in almost two years now. Good riddance.

If I want to read Spider-Man, I would probably post the question "where should I start with Spider-Man?" on something like Lemmy and I'd get a dozen different responses suggesting different comic runs or artists. That alone means I'm not getting the full Spider-Man story.

I can go pick up volume 1 of One Punch Man and know I'm at the beginning of a cohesive story.

I fuckin hate Nazis.

After what seems like a year of near constant stress, disappointment, and loneliness, I decided to stop sitting at my computer all day and start making better choices for myself. This was a really hard thing to do for me since I work from home about two feet from my entertainment area. I would end up sitting at my desk all day and neglecting things that I wanted to do and I wasn't sure why.

This month I have:

Set up the Ender 3 V2 that was sitting in my closet for two years and printed out a bunch of cool shit with my kid.

Exercised every other day to try to help myself with some vicious joint pain that has developed recently.

Kept the dishes from piling up on my desk.

Made doctor and dentist appointments.

Don't get me wrong, things are still stressful and disappointing, but I feel a lot better than I have in a long time. What have you done to care for yourself lately? Digging yourself out of depression is hard and I want to hear your successes, no matter how small they are.
