No joke has ever been improved by explaining it straight after but that's a little bit harsh

To add to this, repeats with added sign language were (are?) often broadcast late at night because you were meant to set your video to record them to use as teaching materials. wasn't just sign language, a lot of the videos shown in school was stuff that had been taped from 3am

Not saying it doesn't happen but I've seen this said a few times now, and have never heard of anyone who actually refuses to clean their arse. Have I just lived a sheltered life or what?

When I was looking for a new phone I gave up and bought a usb c dac/amp from Fiio. Ended up buying a phone from Sony which does have a 3.5 port (and sd card too) but continue to use the dongle anyway as it sounds better. Use it 2-3 times a week

I semi remember an interview with the guy from nickelback who said (obviously paraphrasing) that he studied the songs that reached number one in the rock chart, and noted that, ok they have this tempo, they have a key change here, etc etc, and set out to make a song that had those qualities. very successfully as it turned out.

there's the same sort of essential cynicism (and subsequent success) with the oatmeal

I agree with the point but it is kind of funny to see the oatmeal, the nickelback of comics, complaining about it
