That's awesome! Reading for pleasure or work/school?

Not as fine as last week. I am very tired and keep getting distracted from my schedule which fucks with me emotionally because autism.

I am fine during the day, then I tell myself "tonight I'm going to just play video games or read a book" and end up working. Not healthy. I really wish I'd stop this bout of compulsive behaviour.

I shot my back so I can't work out and I think it is affecting me more than I thought it would..

I'm sorry but sk8ter boy is obviously the GOAT

That's true. It is a human trait. But at the moment the ones making that mistake again are the Americans.

It it was unprecedented, would it be more or less forgivable? I don't know really.

Mm it makes me very angry and sad to see peoples response to this. I feel like in Europe at least more and more people are becoming aware that it is not in fact just "the art of the deal", but serious. Still a lot of careful rethoric thrown around and a lot of people refuse accepting the situation (fascists in the white house) but it is getting better. I have no idea how it is in the US tho except for some news articles which don't tell me shit about what people think..

I'm pissed at the american people.

Without getting into insults and earning a ban, they voted for this guy.

Ah shit I think you are right. Feels like I have had it forever but seems that was a false memory of some sort.

I bought it while I lived in my previous apartment which I feel was longer ago and so I got a bit confused with the dates I think lol. Thanks for pointing it out.

I think you are missing the point of using an e-ink device.. I don't think anyone would use one because of "how powerful" it is.

I don't want to read for hours on end on my phone or computer. With this, I can turn backlight off and use a lamp, like a normal book. Better for my eyes and relaxing.

Also, having dedicated devices for certain activities will change how you interact with them when using them. If I read a book on my computer I am tempted to look things up, get some work done or play a game. This is just for leisurely reading, and so when I pick it up that is what I do with it.

If you read a lot (books, not documentation which requires looking things up) then it really is a lot better for your eyes and a better experience to use e-ink.

Been using an Onyx Boox Nova 3 for maybe ~~8~~ 4 years now. It runs android, drm free everything (edit: it has no store really, it is basically empty. Supports virtually any filetype you can read. Epub, pdf, mobi, cbz). For some android could be a distraction from reading, but the browser is slow enough to were you use it to hop on annas-archive, get a book and then quickly close it. File transfer via shared wifi or USB, good reader, some nice reading stats without needing any account. Recommend if anyone wants to jump the amazon ship.

Nicotine and some chocolate these days. I always take a cup of coffee and a piece of cocolate every day. It is sacred at this point.

I've been listening through the Ozric Tentacles discography. Idk why I never got into Space Rock before but as a fan of Psytrance it is kind of a no brainer really.

Got into it after reading Eat Static are ex-members of Ozric, and so decided to check it out.

And right now Ishq, ambient. Was a feature on Jon Hopkins latest album RITUAL.

I have a deep love for Houston and Memphis rap and g-funk. This is one of my favorite albums from the Houston scene. While there are many great album covers in the southern rap and hiphop scene this one is just so funny. Ocean Of Funk is a funny name, but coupled with a low-rider "surfin' the waves of funk", it becomes priceless to me.
