A slack line? Maybe over budget

Stuff to build skate features, or wax for waxing curbs

If he lives by snow, a park rake is super cool for building snow features. It like makes a perfect jump for you.

G-form (knee)pads maybe lame, but by far the most comfortable protection I've ever worn.

A knife, 10 year old me would spend hours widdling sticks, trying to make wooden swords and stuff

3d printed nerf guns are amazing now. If you have access

I got to volunteer at a UCI event. A lot of the racers had very clicky hubs there, I imagine this is mostly for those competitive types.

It seems that over the past couple months or so, I started having and engaging in more political discussions (on account of the presidential election). When you're in that space, it feels like you need to have an opinion on every little thing. Geopolitics, taxes, financial policy, etc. How important is it to educate myself and ask questions? Do you feel that pressure to have an opinion on everything?

edit: I don't think this question is about politics, but if it is, I can delete this.

I think some people are misunderstanding what this is trying to say. It's not saying that you should always take the easy route with your hobbies. It is not saying that you shouldn't learn the "right" way to do your hobby.

It's saying that it's just a fucking hobby. It's purpose is to be enjoyed not mastered. Do it the hard way when you're feeling it. But don't force yourself to struggle because someone on the Internet said that this way is how you learn the most efficiently or get the best results.

Uff, we'll have to eat Florida avocados, I do not think they taste as good as hass avocados.

If I think I'm a lost cause, why would I even try. Some people think they deserve to feel like shit. But I also agree with you that the desire to not feel like shit is what got me working to feel better. But liking myself is the lube that keeps the whole machine from seizing up into anxiety and depression.

As a fairly attractive person who also suffers from depression. It really doesn't matter. I can find so many reasons why other people don't like me. So many reasons why my actions are ultimately pointless and worthless. And that's the thing, when I'm depressed I think I'm ugly. Don't take my word for it, think of all the Hollywood stars that have or do suffer from depression.

I don't think it matters what you have. Depression can make a shit sandwich out of any situation. But once you work through it and become fun to be around things change. Even if you're only fun for yourself to be around, that's one more person who likes you.

Does stability reflect it's likelihood to crash, or it's frequency of updates in this analogy.

Also is the pickup line "I got a rolling release personally" good?

I'm not sure it's a safe bet. Only if the tariffs last longer than 4 years. Building new factories takes a couple years, then you need to break even all within 4 years? Just seems risky to me

I think the grey area is that their is either no single one rights holder, so who's going to sue you, especially for a game they may not be able to use themselves. Or for defunct companies that hold the rights but are out of business.

Meaning it's grey in that it's too much of a hassle or not realistic to sue you for infringement.

I'm also talking out of my ass too, so please correct me.

Are there any ways we can fight this? In my head "guerilla counter psyops" sounds really cool...

But like is the move to ignore? Point out what they're doing? Verbal judo? Report and move on?
