I think I read "The Name of the Wind" in two long sittings, about 12 years ago.

Holy fuck, what a great book that was.

They will, but you have to follow some protocols, like not having beard where the masks is supposed to seal around your face, not using it more than ~3 times (iirc), not trying to clean it (just let it rest for some days on a clean surface) and etc.

Basically always seal testing.

Also, iirc the N stands for not oil resistant, so any oil staining ruins it. I'd guess that includes sneezing on it.

True, it is a bit wonky indeed when opening some chonky pdf files... I guess I just got familiar with the layout bc I was already accustomed with it on a jailbroken kindle.

Once you get the bells & whistles down, you can pretty much read anything cozily on any screen/orientation. Still, more of an e-reader app than a PDF viewer.

Anyway, thanks for the guide! Lots of apps I didn't know about and I'll be sure to try them all out :)

same as x * .5 = .25 if that somehow helps ya

I suspect people might be getting confused by this because of colloquialisms like "divided in half", "divided in the middle", "divided by two"

things is, math doesn't care about idioms

another area in mathematics that I've seen ppl (myself included lmao) suffer from this is propositional logic. like with the non exclusive nature of the OR operator

but this is all just a wild guess

Remember: big corpo trains you to depend on them since childhood in schools, which all use Office.

lmao I remember getting schooled by a math teacher when I tried to use libreoffice calc instead of excel on an assignment back in highschool

detail: all the school computers ran linux. fuck whoever didn't have a pc with windows at home

she brought her windows laptop and attached it to the projector and expected everyone to have the assignment files in a format excel could read

problem is, at least going 12 years back, not all calc functions and/or param names translate directly to excel ones

so when she opened the file, which I made sure was one excel could read, there was a bunch of gibberish on some cells

when I told her it worked as intended on libreoffice, she said something along the lines of: you don't go to church using the same clothes that you use when going to a nightclub

anyway, at least the school was trying not to depend on windows

Big(gest?) piracy forum

Mostly steam stuff, each game has its specific forum post with info on who cracked the latest versions of a game and whatnot, links to download methods and there's also plenty of piracy related projects (like creamapi, goldberg, etc)

I'm not sure if you're familiar with fitgirl-repacks, but most of her repack pages actually points to the cs.rin website for game updates

Was on Fedora for 3 yrs now and decided to distrohop to EndeavourOS like yesterday. Reason: jc141 releases were finnicky on Fedora; very very probably my fault lol.

Gotta say, I'm impressed with the system and makepkg is just so comfy to use wtf.

Might go back to Fedora eventually but EndeavourOS has been a smooth sailing so far. I think I'll stay a while.
