Smart watch. I’ve been wearing one every day for the past 5-6 years. I like that I can check notifications at work, in a meeting, or any time it’s inconvenient to have my phone out. I also really enjoy having my fitness data tracked for trends over the years: calories burned, steps walked, heart rate, breathing, exercises, sleep, etc. It has really helped me become a more active person as I try to beat previous goals.

We set up our indoor Christmas decorations right after Halloween. It feels like the season goes by so quickly and we don’t get to enjoy them for as long as we want if we wait until after Thanksgiving

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. It goes over a lot of general knowledge and science, including the history of those discoveries, in a way that’s conversational and so engaging. I wish I could find more books like it, so I’m open to suggestions!

My SO swears at his personal assistant all the time and I feel like it has gotten more vindictive over time and refuses to listen to simple tasks

I’ve always heard that but also been told to wait for some time after eating before brushing to not hurt your enamel? Not sure how true that is

Yes, same thing would happen to me! It was a risk trying to stretch it out because if it works the pain would go away but if it didn’t pop, then the pain would be worse than when I started. Sorry you’re still going through it. My doctor recommended NSAIDs for the pain but they didn’t help me too much. Eventually the problem went away and I luckily haven’t had it come back

I used to have costochondritis which was an inflammation of the cartilage in my sternum. It would feel like a pressure on my chest that wouldn’t be relieved until I bent backwards to stretch and “pop” my chest. So occasionally friends and family would see me stretching and wonder wtf I was doing
