Damn that's such unnecessary DRM, I think it should be illegal to serialize parts like that for a mass produced product.

For the smartphone, what do you mean by software unlocked parts? For the rest I'm in total agreement.

The high end graphics card market really needs more clean RGB free stuff. My 3090's lights didn't turn on despite it functioning just fine so maybe that counts :) ?

As for case I know you had plenty of answers already, but I recently got a Corsair 4000D my latest build it's sleek and has no inbuilt RGB lighting.

"A more affordable way to use Plex [or another subscription service]" is how it always starts...

Meh, I take all the news and developments with large lumps of salt for this topic especially.

I believe both that Hamas is operating behind human shields to curry favour against humanitarian law, and that the IDF is more or less indiscriminately harming civilians, refugees and militants of Palestine all in the same brushstroke to excuse extermination as merely retaliation (also against humanitarian law in case that's not clear to anyone)

I'd only recently noticed the change, because my multipicture and short video sends were failing less often.

Governments in free, democratic countries are not supposed to spy on you without a probable suspicion of wrongdoing. Government agencies around the world get around that by "purchasing information" collected by private firms and use it to gain probable suspicion whenever they feel like.

A close family member had an ASUS netbook... it was real great til it caught fire at the display power hinge...

Is Nintendo really going to stop first party Switch releases the moment they announce/release Switch 2? I can see they wanted to drop the Wii U fairly quickly, but for the 3DS stuff like new Mario Party games came out after the Switch release. Metroid 4 is still in development, presumably targeting the Switch.
