I'm sure they will fix it, but for now opensource.org looks like shit on mobile. Broken text, buggy header, and stuff like this.

Even fsf.org looks better on mobile, and I'm certain the design is quite outdated by now.

Looks okay in my view. Tapped and opened the link in the Voyager app on iOS.

The top bar keeps disappearing when I use it (also iOS)

What browser are you using? Works fine for me in Firefox on Android

I'm using Firefox too. Maybe it's fault of different screen size.

That keyboard under the text is a little wonky

[–] [email protected] 3 points 8 months ago

Cause everything on your screen is super small, are you using a tablet or something?

But the most exciting part? We’ve embraced the power of the fediverse! Comments on our blog posts can now be posted and shared across different platforms, fostering a lively and open discussion space.

... how?

@onlinepersona @fediverse Haha good question! They're light on details ("we moved to Wordpress")
and after testing it seems like it's not even working :(

WordPress has an ActivityPub plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/activitypub/

Here's a wordpress blog that is available via activitypub: https://solarbird.net/blog
We can address it like so: @solarbird.net
We can't see the posts on Lemmy (doesn't support ad-hoc fetching of ActivityPub Notes)
but in a Mastodon web UI: https://solarbird.net/blog/2024/02/27/kosa-again-yes-again/

Thanks for the information! I guess I'll have to wait until Lemmy supports it.

Is Wordpress -> Lemmy federated? I can't seem to fetch the blogpost

Do you mean I can search for mastodon posts from a Lemmy app?

If the post in question was posted to a Lemmy community, then yes. Same with kbin.
