Netanyahu, the wanted by the ICC, is visiting Orban, who for his favour is ripping up Hungary's participation to the treaty of Rome. Israel is aligned with the USA, and now with Hungary and therefore Russia. Even if we ignored that it is itself an apartheid state, accused of genocide at the Hague, Canada has no business with the friends of our enemies.

"New" as in September of last year, not something done under Carney's leadership. Carney also just recently made a statement that Palestinians have an untouchable right to the territorial integrity of their land in the same way that Ukraine and Canada do.

My hopes are not very high for the Liberals to be as strong on opposing Israel's actions in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria as I would like, but with circumstances in our relationship with the US having changed dramatically, I think there is an opening for new leadership to go in a new direction. At least with the Liberals under Carney there is some hope. With Poilievre, there would be no hope at all.

It’s just like how Trump is much more pro-destruction of Palestine.

yes. In all fairness we're to elect the worst of two evils thanks to FPP election system. Any other party (NDP included) is not entering the picture because Politics became team sports supercharged with FPP. Despite my full dislike of Libs I will likely pinch my nose and vote for them, just because in my riding there's no chance is freezing hell NDPs or anyone else can take a seat from Cons...

Is this paper legit? Every headline I've seen shared seems to be trying to sow dissent, drawing similar ties to the bullshit we saw in the states that got Trump in...

I was hoping the secrecy and lies would be set aside with Carney.

This is bull shit. If he doesn't come out and give us the facts in a day or two he will likely start losing support. And that's not good for us as a nation.
