Using a stencil means they can leave their mark quickly (with less chance of being stopped), and repeat it in multiple locations just as quickly.
Looking at the stencils they look to have been cut pretty amateurishly

We have not reached the floor. I don't see mass daily protests or armed insurrection. Apparently we're all ok with this so far. When the fascists have pushed so far that people will sacrifice some comfort and safety to do something about it is when we reach the floor. Right now, people are still too comfortable.

A reminder to people who call this an act of violence, it isn't. Violence can only be committed against living things. This is arson which is a type of vandalism. If there are people or animals inside, then it's violence. If only property is damaged it's vandalism or sabotage, depending on the purpose of the damage.
Now that's the kind of direct action I like to see!
