This is called "the cost of doing business" to build a technocratic dictatorship. I promise you, none of these people are losing a wink of sleep over this. So far, they are getting everything they want at a breakneck pace.

It’s going to be worse for us the wealthy will be given communist gifts of money and debt forgiveness for us it will be cutthroat capitalism mass layoffs, homelessness explosion, no affordable healthcare, elderly being thrown onto the streets, all government services will be privatized for shareholder profit, food insecurity and then they’re going to buy what is left of our homes and America…..oh and it’s illegal to be homeless in America now thanks to the SCOTUS.

it's not enough for their stock valuations to decline, we need to see their actual wealth (assets, private property) redistributed to the 99 percent.

in other words, control over the means of production needs to be taken from them. at minimum, reestablishment of top marginal tax rates and inheritance taxes.

they have demonstrated they cannot be responsible with the productive powers of our country. time to make the bosses pay.

In Musk's case there isn't much there beyond the inflated stock valuations.

As I've said elsewhere: This only means something, if they won't just use the recession to buy up tangible assets from the dead capital they had accumulated. Whoever is going to be in the close circle at the top, will probably benefit a lot after all is said and done - unless it does indeed end up backfiring even for them. Things are chaotic now, we will see.

Always remember, the worst thing that can possibly happen to a billionaire via regulation is to become like us again.

Google today is exactly what it would have been when they founded it, if they had the capital and knowledge back then that they do today
