You don't need to be rich to go to a gym or increase your knowledge.
...but you do need to be rich-enough to afford time not spent preparing for work, working, nor recovering from work...

there is only the working class and the owning class. those other classes were made up by the owning class, to divide the working class.

Nowadays, there are really only two classes:
- The Owners class, which is people who live off the money that's made by the assets they own.
- The Worker class, which is people who live off the money they get from selling their work.
What was called "Middle Class" generally are just workers who earn a bit more, though the older Middle Class did at times manage to save enough to buy enough assets that they could start living of the income from those assets and not have to work anymore. That's not the case for young people nowadays who would qualify as Middle Class due to their level of formal education and the kind of work they do because it's way harder for them to save and asset prices are through the roof.
A job is not a hobby.

Burning fossil fuels, underage sex parties, over throwing democratically elected 3rd world governments.

I made the comment that rent should be tax deductible, just like a mortgage, and some rise and grind boot licking doofus said "you can if you run a home business." First of all, do you need to run a home business in a home you own to write off your mortgage? No Secondly, not everyone in the country can run a home business. Imagine the chaos.

It's hilarious to me that, while the author is trying to own working-class people's poor choice of hobbies, what it actually does is show the immense privilege of people whose only hobbies are various forms of "self improvement".
Job is not my hobby, job is how I pay for my hobbies.
Also I wish learning got me rich. Unfortunately I don’t bother learning stuff that makes money. I am however shockingly educated on certain subcultural histories.
Any rich person born after 1993 can't party. All they know is gym, invest in they mentors, not work, be knowledgeable, do business, and lie.
