BEIRUT (AP) — An early morning Israeli airstrike killed three journalists as they slept at a guesthouse in southeast Lebanon on Friday, one of the deadliest attacks on the media since hostilities broke out across the border a year ago.

It was a rare airstrike on an area that has been used by the media as a base for covering the war.

Hamas have also been known to sleep. For a third of the day, the journalists’ activities were indistinguishable from those of the most notorious terrorists!

And do you know what was under the car? HEZBOLLAH GOLD!

Has anyone ever compared Israel's kill rate when it comes to journalists compared to Hamas? I think they have a higher ratio for the former.

Israel was responsible for something like 80% of fatalities among journalists last year, worldwide. So yes, easily

Well they definitely outpace Russia... which is pretty telling.

Hamas doesn't really make a habit of killing journalists. I mean they probably have one or two kills, but personally I haven't heard of it. On the other hand Israel is... yeah.

You're reading that wrong, it's not comparing Hamas to Israel, it's comparing Hamas death to journalist deaths. As in which one does Israel have the better ratio on.

Oh I see. Probably journalists tbh.

Israel killed more journalists than everyone else on Earth combined since Oct 7th

Why not "Israel killed journalists covering the war in Lebanon as they slept"? Israeli airstrike make it sounds relatively passive as if it was an accident. With over 170 if these "accidents" we know that the IDF is either very, very incompetent or they're not accidents at all

Don't worry, it's okay because they claimed that they were combatants first. /s
