You just listed tactics used on most modern day protests then told me to pay attention?

That's not proof of fascism. That's just a Tuesday.

Like I hate the guy, but this is a bad proof. He's a generic corrupt Capitalist politician. It's a best proof he's good at trolling the left.

He held the bible for a photo op? That's your proof he's tangibly doing fascist actions?

You know a large majority get sworn in on that thing?

It also isn't anything Trump has actually done. He jokes about being violent or fascist to get attention and goad the left into giving him even more attention - and they fall for it every time. He laughs at them with his supporters about this.

Yeah, that said - I don't think he's a fascist yet. I think he's an extreme Capitalist with a narcissistic personality.

He likes to joke, play, and dance with violent rhetoric to get views and likes. He goads the left into giving him attention, and his supporters find it funny.

So I think he'll be a more run of the mill candidate than most on the left are claiming. This is because American democracy is already corrupt, already serves mostly the wealthy and bigotted, at the cost of the stupid, poor, vulnerable, and ignorant.

So he won't be a noteworthy fascist unless there's a government action results in a mass violence, OR he refuses to leave office.

I don't think this has anything to do with it, because there are plenty of stadiums that don't have built in snipers nests.

Sure is!.. and deciding to change candidate without a democratic primary was part of finding that out.

Gen-Z men also shifted towards Trump.

So progress is unfortunately not linear, but can slip back to darker times. Which is not great.

Edit: Also, though I think lots of Trump voters vote for him because he's unusual. They see him as a vote against the usual. Against establishment candidates, and against the standard social-political contract. So establishment candidates being disconnected from what voters actually want is a big part of it.

Super sensitive!

How about this: minorities shifted TOWARDS Trump!

I want a whole jellico series.

Can't we just do like, lines on the road that have specific meanings? We could put it all in a book of rules and standards? Make it a nation wide system?

Yes, it's in the air, it's in what he says, the lies he tells, and whose emotions they're aimed at. It's in the American exceptionalism he sells.

That's the vision the left has to fit into, and it's been done before. Bernie was doing it in 2016.

Compare that coherent vision of American exceptionalism with this:

Tell lies that make them feel better than the lies the other guy is telling.
