Owens concluded by suggesting Elon Musk had succumbed to the same pressures: “I feel the same, and I’m wondering if you do as well, Elon Musk seems a little bit different too.”

They're turning on each other.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 month ago

They think Elon is backing off?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It was inevitable as soon as he showed a tiny bit of weakness

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (3 children)

What weakness did he show?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

He's losing to Kamala and hasn't been able to come up with a good strategy to take her on. His campaign is flailing, twisting in the wind.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Oh I thought you meant musk.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago

He hasn't been able to form a coherent sentence for ten years. It's just taking the idiots this long to realize that this is weakness.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Age and stupid. The problems leaked through like so much chicken grease through a paper bag and they couldn't ignore it, so they're trying to make something of it.

I say they pick someone to take his place, someone who isn't Nikki Haley, who's gonna be pissed -- because she won a single primary and, with Trump gone, she's next in succession.

Then the in-fighting will truly begin.

It is sort of odd that when the people of ancient Faerûn cried "Down with fascists!", the drow & duergar (et al) took that as a literal challenge. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤓

Mo'pheus like take the red drank or purple drank

[–] [email protected] 62 points 1 month ago

Trump, Musk, and Andrew Tate are all the same greedy conmen they've always been. They're just each at different stages of losing their battle against reality.

Zero clicks on the video. Screw both of them.

Also feels like Mediate is subtly spreading Candace Owens videos by embedding it instead of just a screenshot or a link to another page to get the info if desired

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You think Mediate would stoop so low as those industry standards?

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I think it's one thing to push liberal-leaning articles to liberals to give them what they want. (I'm a progressive but I know a circle-jerk when I see one). It's something else when they are getting people to hate-watch toxic content from far-right content creators who are repeated bad-faith actors. If Richard Spencer had a YouTube channel, would they embed his videos as well? Sus AF.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Fair point, actually. 🤌🏾

[–] [email protected] 49 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Andrew Tate and Candace Owens

I'll take 'creeps I wouldn't want to be in the same state with' for $200, Alex.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I couldn't Imagine anything worse than having Tate as a cell mate. You'd have to listen to him talking 24/7 about how he's a alpha male

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

At least he would do it while blowing you.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

And because of the above Jeopardy joke, now I’m trying to decide who’s be less annoying.

Tate, or Alex Jones?

[–] [email protected] 33 points 1 month ago (1 children)

How is Andrew Twat able to say anything? I thought he was in jail, no?

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (3 children)

Nope. On trial here in Romania still, not allowed to leave the country but otherwise free as long as he keeps his court dates.

As soon as the trial is over, he's on a plane to London as the UK wants him back. God knows why.

At least after the trial he won't be allowed back in the EU as he won't qualify for a visa.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

The UK wants him to face charges for sex crimes.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago (2 children)

God knows why

...You really don't have a guess why?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

considering the UK politics lately, they're probably fans and want a meet and greet.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

If the EU brokered a deal with the UK to take him back just so he was out of the country and couldn't get a visa afterward, that'd be enough.

But oh, he's got a full calendar in London , too.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

For trial I can almost guarantee.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 1 month ago

So Trump isn't Trump enough now?

2015/16 Trump was a celebrity personality that created a previously non-existent voting base from practically nothing. He parroted talking points that he heard from other seasoned politicians but I'm a way that his followers could celebrate regardless of if they actually understood.

Once the GOP understood their need for him, he became their tool. He's nothing more than a GOP mascot and will do the bidding of their wealthy donors. He is the deep state.

His fans are still against all of that and need to believe that Trump is different. The snake is eating its tail.

I don't believe that the GOP has the votes necessary to ever win a presidential election without a new Trump and finding someone with that level of celebrity and ability to work a crowd would be difficult.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 month ago

lol, they’re really clutching at straws now.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I highly doubt Trump thinks he's going to prison or is worried about going to prison, nor about Trump Tower being knocked down (I don't even know where that's coming from), and certainly not the fate of his children after his death. I just think he has too much ego to believe there will be consequences for his actions (he certainly doesn't think he deserves consequences, especially with the recent BS immunity ruling from SCOTUS), and he's too narcissistic to care about his actions affecting others.

I'm not really sure what issues they think he's gone soft on, pretty much his only policies the first time were "build the wall", "drain the swamp", and "lock her up". In 2020 I don't think the GOP even had a platform, it was just "Sleepy Joe" this and that. So are they mad he hasn't come up with a catchy enough insult for Harris yet? Do they just want him to play the old hits from before and tacitly admit that he didn't accomplish any of that when he held office before?

He didn't sell out, what changed is cognitive decline. He can't even stay on topic long enough to get a 3 word catchphrase going again. Someone should really see if he can repeat "person woman man camera TV" immediately after they say it to him, without him going on a tangential rant.

I’d believe he made a deal with deep-Putin before I’d believe he made one with anyone else

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago

I bet Putin was deep inside him during negotiations.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 month ago

They're technically right for the wrong reasons

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago

It could also just be that he's old.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

But Trump wants to put or already had his sympathizes in the top positions in the major administration, like the supreme court, CIA, FBI, ... and make buddy buddy with the rich like Musk. Wouldn't that make him the deep state?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

It's sellout Dementia DonOLD now. He's scared, and he's doing everything he can to get elected because he's fucked if he doesn't win. Nice seeing his cult turn on him.
