Damn this is the first thing I've seen in a long while that I want to play (well, excluding Deadeus). Idk if my framework with the integrated graphics is good enough though since I didn't get the graphics card expansion but if it is I might have to get it on like GOG or whatever.

At its most basic level, Slitterhead is clearly an action game.

Ok, so it's not a horror game.

This is the same mistake people make with titles like Dead Space... They sell it as horror, but that just makes it disappointing for people who like actual horror games.

I was thinking this while playing the new system shock remake.

Any game where you can counter or kill even like 50% of your enemies isn't going to be horror, just an action game with creepy enemies.

I think weapons can work in horror games, they just have to be last resort. Only useful in certain situations, not a garuntee to get you out. Think stealth games like MGS, but without the option quiet takedowns.
