This reminds me of Kim Jung Un looking at things. Authoritarians love looking at shit for photos like they somehow were the ones that actually made it.

Is Adolf’s pal Henry Ford in that crowd?

Wikipedia: Speaking in 1931 to a Detroit News reporter, Hitler said "I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration," explaining his reason for keeping a life-size portrait of Ford behind his desk.

but that's a bicycle not an automobile

What's this vehicle? Looks like an e-bike, if I didn't knew better

[–] [email protected] 25 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's bicycle with a helping engine, but it's not electric.

The thing that looks like a battery is the fuel tank. The engine is the metal attachment left and below of the center of the back wheel.

Random fact: The first motorized vehicle to drive across the USA was a bicycle. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_A._Wyman

It is probably a 60ccm "Saxonette" engine. Here is an article (both in German) with some bikes from that era equipped with that engine.

I am assuming this is a whoosh im not getting

It’s half out of frame? Have you not developed object permanence?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago

Could just be a fan of artist René Magritte

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

More like I was tired and probably a bit drunk and I wrote something stupid on Lemmy. Kill me. I've never heard of object permanence before but I think I understood it well enough at an early age when I drew dinosaurs and their heads continued off page because I didn't like drawing them.

Adolf's got this smile like he just dropped one of those silent-but-deadly farts.
Meanwhile, the guy behind him to his left looks like he's just starting to get a whiff.

Hitler had a history of gastric troubles. Also 100% vegan diet - more beans, more the better. And a bucketful of weird medicine prescribed by his quack doctor. Also methamphetamine. So much meth.

So there was nothing silent about Hitler's farts, is all I'm saying.

Also fart jokes were socially acceptable, so nobody else was silent about it either.
