Sidenote: Mods can actually see deleted posts (to an extent) and I noticed you had posted this with a slightly different title. First off, I've made the same mistake a dozen times. Second, you can actually edit the titles on Lemmy! One of the reasons why I love this place so much. It might depend on the app that you're using (Boost cannot do this at the moment) but a bunch of others can and the web client allows you to! Just thought it'd be cool to know. That's not really talked about a huge amount.
