I've worked with a bunch of hardcore Linux users in my career, some of whom even knew about Lemmy. Not one of them have ever worn striped socks though.
The number of trans people is very small. Only a small percentage of people who work in tech are trans. But a relatively huge percentage of trans people work in tech.
Nor is every thigh high sock user trans.
I respect cis people's right to wear whatever they want...but if I see striped thigh high socks, I will continue to make assumptions until told otherwise.
I don't work in tech but literally just put stickers and opensuse on a refurbished Thinkpad I bought a few days ago π«‘
I guess the important thing is Arch π€π«
