Okay, well clearly absolutely nothing I say will ever convince you that I was asking a question I legitimately wanted an answer to, so I guess you're right. I'm here in bad faith.
Doesn't matter, everything I say is either stupid, wrong or both anyway, even if I just ask a question, so I might as well just agree with you.
Either way, you'll eventually end up realizing I'm not worth your or anyone else's time eventually.
This a very self deprecating response, I think you should seek help from a therapist because I don't think a sober read of this conversation would draw these conclusions. Good luck in your struggles and I hope you find what you need.
They are in a depression spiral and seeking negative validation from others to confirm their own self image. I've had pretty bad depression before and this is just that without any self coping mechanisms so it's straight up negativity to anyone that interacts right now. They want to be the worst so through illusion of their imagination all the worst has already happened.
We are best not engaging. Though you may continue if you want and have the emotional strength to continue on with them.
Yeah, this has pretty quickly devolved, and advice on depression is hard to take from the closest of connections, so I doubt as an internet stranger I will have good luck.
Seek a therapist. Hilarious. As if I had time for a therapist while I'm completely fucking up trying to get my daughter to safety. All I do every day is apply for jobs and try to navigate through the UK bureaucracy and, like everything else, I am failing spectacularly at it.
I won't need a therapist when I inevitably fail and have to come back to the U.S. and she gets put in a conversion therapy camp. I won't need anything.
This is not the language of a healthy mind, and the fact that it is showing up in an internet conversation political action, suggests to me this is just the surface of it. If you feel this way, look for mutual aid groups in your area, find community and seek people to connect with that might help. Your daughter deserves to have someone in good mental health fighting for her.
I already told you I don't have time for that.
And my daughter deserves all sorts of things I can't provide her. Which is why she will end up in a camp and I will no longer be in this universe when it happens.
I'm not giving up because I have fuck all else to do, but the failure is inevitable.
