Is lobsters similar to tildes?

Ya, altho I dont feel as comfortable commenting or posting there cuz they're a bit intense and it doesn't like humor as much in my limited experience. I like that I have an account but my engagement is much more limited there.

Which are you referring to? Less comfortable on tildes or lobsters?

Lobsters. I feel at home on basically every other platform altho I'm a bit more serious on HN but I'm just a bit uneasy on Lobsters. Prefer to lurk there, i do plenty of engagement elsewhere to the point its actually kind of nice to shut the hell up once in a while I suppose🤐

Edit: having said that, the quality of discourse is quite high and you learn a lot from it. I'm sure if I cleaned things up a lot I'd be fine but I like to be quiet on there and just lurk

Thank you. I don't have an invite to lobsters but never thought about just browsing not signed in.
