Honestly though, maybe this is unpopular, whatever, I'm glad there aren't as many people here that's why I like it.
We have no lack of good people, I dare say we have more good people on any one of those services then the entirety of the top pane.
We have the best people. All the geniuses say were the best. They have the worst people. Itβs not even a match.
Slightly different here, when Reddit put the writing on the wall, The people with the lowest tolerance for bullshit left. The signal to noise ratio over there went way up. As the quality dropped off, we saw more waves of people coming this way.
Basically, the people that are left over there are kind of willingly swimming in filth. It's a filtering event really. Even including the bots, tankies, whatever this is, it's far less toxic over here on a thread to thread community to community basis.
Oh, I agree wholeheartedly, I just saw an opportunity for an en passant joke and couldnβt pass it.
Yes, 2015 was a wild year.
Lack of people is genuinely nice for now as Lemmy is still lacking moderation features
I got a post removed by automod today, on lemmy.world/c/meme
I have no idea what post it was.
Theres way more helpful people here. It's a gamble if you'll ever get a reply when asking for help on reddit, but here it's almost guaranteed.
