uBlock Origin tried that briefly. Google maneuvered around it pretty quickly.
I haven’t seen an ad or Adblock notification on YouTube in years. Methods abound.
They are rolling it out in the same iterative way they roll out all their stuff. It's not going to everyone at once. Are you just hearing about this recently? Because it's been tested in larger and larger groups over time.
As I understood it, this rolled out to 100% of users a short while ago. Aside from those with unique blocking mechanisms.
No. They just increased the size of the beta group.
