She had to get that "fired" line in. She knew that would get under his skin.
Not only that, but it does meaningfully reframe losing an election into an easily digestible soundbyte for uninformed voters
which soundbite? lol. I can think of at least 3
You could tell she had those zingers locked and loaded and was just waiting for the right time to drop each of them.
You could also see her when she decided to chamber the round. Where her stern disapproval face had brief flickers of delight as she decided she was going to use one when she had her next chance to speak.
Her prep team was incredible. Overall her campaign is performing incredibly.
We pull this off as a nation? Could be reeeeal nice for the readers among us.
I think her campaign is what an actual campaign is supposed to look like, it just looks incredible when you compare it to the dumpster fire that is Trumps campaign.
I still want more substance from her campaign, not because it won't work this way, but because this way is working so well. She has the opportunity to make some progress while still tripping him into pools of his own filth.
Unsurprising that a prosecutor knows how to get people to act like an ass in front of a jury of their peers.
