you can't be elected president twice but you can hold the office more than twice.

Not really, at best it’s legally debatable but I feel like the 12th and 22nd amendments make it pretty clear.

12th says if you’re ineligible for president, you’re ineligible for VP And 22nd says you can’t be elected more than twice.

You were correct if it goes the other way round, you start as a Veep who takes over.

I'd love Michelle but she can't pull the swing states. Let's elect Kamala and then put Michelle in the SCOTUS. Barack too, why not? Get some work out of those two fine minds.
