I'd be the same tbh, in Ireland here, and I'm so fed up with constant updates for my TV ๐ yeah it's handy that the remote has buttons for Disney+ and Prime and Netflix, but honestly it's not needed at all. Same as not wanting Bluetooth headphones or earphones, I don't want to have to worry about not being able to use earphones because they need charged ๐ hard enough keeping my phone charged often enough without carrying around a charger pack. There's a lot of inconvenience with 'convenient' products.
Do these fuckin things actually require being connected nowadays?

Except every time I turn it on it's asking to be updated before I can watch TV. It's a nuisance. Still a big upgrade on my old TV which was like a 32" and pretty old, but it's still irritating.
