Because you can fuckin die. Anesthesia is a risk every time you go under. It's a scary business.
Yeah, and the risk of death with euthanasia is even higher!
Imagine that!
It's not just a risk, it's guaranteed.
They didn't even notice that euthanasia was not the right word for the situation, I doubt they actually meant anesthesia that completely puts one under. That would be risky. But most dentists just use local anesthesia and maybe nitrous oxide as a sedative, and these are much less risky. Not sure I'd trust a tattoo artist with access to a steady supply of nitrous at work, definite Steve Martin from Little Shop of Horrors vibes.
And the pain is a bonus for some. No seriously, they get something like runner's high and some people enjoy that.
I recently heard of a guy with a tatoo fetish. doesnt even really care about the tatoo itself, but the paon, the girl (of course..) doing it etc
Meh. I have sleeves. It's an adrenaline rush for a bit. But it's not always great.
Yeah, there's a really good reason anesthesiology pays a shitload of money.
That's true for general anesthesia, but what about local anesthesia?
