Hello.
What? You die at like 32, gramps.
STOP KINKSHAMING ME 😤
Oh no, I'm so sorry. About living in Ohio, I might.
I looked into it before I started using it like a year ago. They count the number of searches but claim to not hold actual search queries. I don't have a citation handy (it has been a year...) but even if that's untrue (which I don't think it is, but hypothetically) and they were found to be using it to tweak their engine, meh? I search for memes, accounts for art/porn, games/reviews, etc. I'm not searching for my home address or anything of interest or value. "hey, the horny furry searched for more horny furry stuff" is like "water is still wet, more at 10".
This is a super low-important possibility, imo.
Uh, they are actually native to Cupertino...
lifts it with just two fingers
oh shit, it's true
Correct, this is not the same bridge
I've said this elsewhere in the thread, but I have had suicidal ideation... 'events' as well, never called though. If you want someone to talk to (anyone else, too! yes, that means you, hi!), reach out and message me. I know this shit all too well and I don't mind in the slightest, talking to someone who needs - or just wants - to communicate with someone who 'gets it'.
No pressure, I just want to help others like myself.

Collectively: "why would we upgrade just one generation?"
Like, sure, I have a Threadripper 1st and 2nd gen. I'm weird like that. I have a VII and a 7900 XTX. But the 7xxx is fine. I went from TR 2950X to the 7800X3D. Do I want more cores? Fuck yeah. Am I going to pay thousands of dollars for a modern high-core TR? Lmfao no.
If I was building a new machine for someone, sure, 9xxx. But shit, even a 3xxx in my network is still kicking ass. Why the hell would I upgrade when I don't want to? And the 7xxx is cheaper and - mostly - offers the same performance.
Drop the price if they want to sell more, simple as that. And don't expect upgrades every release family.
