Red Rising by Pierce Brown. You seem to like a lot of the same books I do. I just found this series and I loved it.

You like many of the same books that I like. Try the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. I just read it recently and now it’s one of my favorites.

I didn’t until recently. I wanted to give companies I valued credit, in some way. But, ads are completely out of control and it broke me so I started using ublock a few months ago. It’s so much better and I’m not looking back.

This was my answer! I watched a couple old videos last night actually and then watched some new ones. He’s gotten better in my opinion. What you said is right. It’s in the same style but now it’s more polished.

Came here to say this. That movie is fantastic. And it was made for basically nothing. It’s so smart.

I work on commercial real estate. Sometimes the fees we charge make me feel shitty but then I remember the borrowers are landlords.

Lemmy is my go to when I have downtime and want to mindlessly scroll but I’ve been really into making things lately so I’ve been on GitHub for fun trying to understand how other projects work.

Nothing has made my computer slower than trying to open Excel. FFS. You need min 32GBs of RAM and a 4060 for that thing.

You’re absolutely right. I agree with everything you said. The whole situation is really frustrating as users.

Yeah, just 8. I was worried about only 8 actually but I couldn’t bring myself to spend the extra money on the 16gb (I have a desktop if I need to fall back on it).

So far so good. I haven’t even noticed hitting a wall with the low amount of ram. I forgot to mention, I’m just coding websites. Even with the JavaScript, I’m not building AAA or doing a ton, really.

It did at the very very bottom. I almost missed it.
