I went from Jerboa to Eternity to Raccoon to Voyager. I have to say Voyager is the most mature lemmy app when it comes to current features, development of new features, customizability and stability.

Darum geht's: Was kommt eigentlich dabei raus, wenn sich CDU/CSU mit ihren konservativen Schwesterparteien im EU-Parlament Regeln für die Reisekostenerstattung ausdenken?* Maximale Gönnung für alle deutschen EU-Abgeordneten!

Hintergrund: Die Reisekosten für “normale Reisen” (also eine Reise zwischen Wohnort und Arbeitsort) setzen sich zusammen aus den realen Kosten und je einer Pauschale für Zeitaufwand und Distanz. Deshalb können Abgeordnete selbst für eine Fahrt, die sie nichts kostet, immer noch Pauschalen für Zeitaufwand und Distanz beantragen. Belege müssen sie erst ab 800 km Autofahrt einreichen. Wer eine Zugfahrt mit einer Netzkarte (die einer Bahncard 100 entspricht) absolviert, muss nach dem einmaligen Einscannen der Netzkarte gar nichts mehr einreichen. Deutsche EU-Abgeordnete haben Netzkarten für Belgien und Deutschland. (Ob EU-Abgeordnete aus anderen Staaten ebenfalls in den Genuss von Netzkarten kommen, weiß ich nicht.)

*Die Europäische Volkspartei, zu der auch CDU/CSU gehören, ist seit 1999 die größte Fraktion im Europäischen Parlament und dominiert die anderen Fraktionen seitdem bei der Festlegung aller internen Regeln.
