A lot of LSD

Yeah there are like 40 of them but you can split them up in to series. If you liked The Truth you’ll probably like the Watch series starting with Guards! Guards! and following Sam Vines and the other Watchmen.

I’m going through the Discworld series for the first time right now. I’m going in chronological order but when I finish I’ll probably go through them again eventually but I think I’ll do series instead in bunches. I’m already looking forward to rereading the Watch series back to back.

Stop letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

And we shouldn’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. A poke with a stick isn’t good but it’s sure as shit better then a pistol whipping.

This the stupidest step they could take. Seriously if you’re going to get 20 years for throwing a firebomb. Well, in for a penny - in for a pound, you might as well … I can’t make any suggestions after all, but let your mind wander and I’m sure you can think of something a lot worse that’s still only going to get you 20 years.

These are the crazy years.

Bull pucks. The man isn’t playing 4-D chess with the News, he’s not even do a deliberate Gish-Gallop. He’s just saying the first thing that pops in to his head. And right now that’s I want to go down in history as the greatest president ever. He thinks if he expands the US he’ll be bigger then Jefferson.

Filler episodes are important because they focus on character development and they give a break from the main plot.

Yeah I’m totally in agreement with this I need breathing episodes to care about characters. Day in the life episodes and bottle episodes help viewers connect emotionally with the characters. Too many shows these days expect viewers care about the central character just because they are the ones getting screen time.

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world” - Mahatma Gandhi*.

That goes without saying

I always want to rewatch HIMYM because I do remember enjoying it but I get one or two episodes in and I loose the taste for it because of how bad it ended. Really only one of a few shows truely ruined by the ending.
