5 min ago my lemmy all turned spanish....all the tabs, preferences..etc. I went into preferences and made sure they were checked to english....they were....what is going on? I cant read spanish so I am in need of some help here....i am asking you b/c I cannot find the mod help link b/c I cannot read it.

It might sound stupid, but sometimes (at least for me) I find joy in bringing others joy. I do my best to compliment strangers around me when I notice that they've done something special to make themselves look nice or if I really like a piece of clothing. I go out of my way to bring/send treats to my coworkers or friends when they have a special day coming up. It's a reminder to them (and to myself) that the world is what we make of it, so why not do what we can to make it better? Joy is not a zero-sum game - something that takes me an iota of effort to do can bring huge returns in happiness of others.
Doesn't mean it isn't cute/funny when it does happen, though. Just this week my SO pronounced chihuahua as "CHA-HOO-A-HOO-A" so I told them "you know this word, it's the taco bell dog" lol

I distinctly remember reading this in first grade because my teacher did this thing where you had to read to her for her to judge your reading capabilities, and I started to read aloud the part where he talks about his #2s not being invisible and I was embarrassed to read that out loud lol
