I mean I hate him, but I didn't get that from this. To me it sounded like he was suggesting that her newfound supporters know very little about her, that they are fair-weather followers or something. It's easy to imagine that one of his yes-men showed him a clip of a rally where somebody was fumbling for her last name, and he just took that idea and magnified a single example of something into "nobody knows", like he always does.

My partner and I once went as Leon and Matilda for Halloween. I finished off a quart of milk and filled it with pre-mixed negroni cocktai to sneak it into a party as part of my costume. Boy howdy, I was so drunk I was speaking in tongues at the end of the night.

It's called tracking when you refer to the vertical spacing. That's what stands out to me as not so good.

I'm so much more worried about my future kids' access to toxic alpha male shit and fascist propaganda than I am about porn.

I mostly agree with you, but economics is at best a heaping tablespoon of math and a sack of human behavioral psychology. Those guys really only know what's going on 6 months after it happened.

Lol, Edith and Mildred are literally my grandmothers' names. Edith is a badass and just turned 99.

The door was opened normally by the driver, it was just forced open the rest of the way by the motorcycle.

I can only speak about the US, but sadly, the unhoused die of hunger, preventable disease, and exposure all the time here. And unemployment does not cover a 1 bedroom apartment in major cities, nor does it qualify you for the outrageous requirements of most leases. You may be right about the status of the poor in the EU though.

They eat cleaner food and have more amenities than a King, but they certainly don't live better. The point of the article is that the rising tide is floating a few boats wayyyy higher than the rest, and the overall growth does not justify the fact that people still die of hunger, get evicted while working multiple jobs, fall ill and are saddled by medical dept for life (US only), and shit like that.

Most interesting definition, I think, comes from contrapposto. Can it die? No. So long as it retains its "shape" more or less, it functions. If heated or denatured, it no longer functions. More like broken than dead.

Wrong. Talk to him every day. Hang out on some weekends, and become friends. Plant subtle notions of egalitarianism through your friendship and generosity. Ask him thought questions about his beliefs, but not in an accusatory manner. Teach him to actually think for himself, to keep an open mind, to seek evidence rather than faith to form convictions. Slowly show him by example what it means to be a good person who cares for their fellow human beings.

Then you plant some drugs on him while at work, and call HR with your suspicions.

Having never owned a house or really had a yard of my own, I got pretty excited and decided to do some ad-hoc landscaping. Built some raised beds for vegetables, and just laying in some organic shaped in-ground beds for low water decorative plants. Gonna fill the rest in with gravel. Any pointers?
