This might be a dumb question but is Winamp still FOSS?

As far as I know the WCL isn't known as being an OSI approved license

Nintendo's stagnated and has become a patent troll

as someone that used to be a fan I'm sad as it's hard to be hyped for any of their games when they're widely known for pulling these kinds of scummy tactics time and time again

indies be dammed, it's too much of a risk to make Nintendo-inspired games let alone direct fan-games

holy shit

if this is true AMD gamers just got a huge free boost in gaming performance

Windows was very unoptimized for Ryzen

What my friends think when I tell them it's not that hard to switch to Linux nowadays

in my attempt to satiate my desire to keep the series alive in my heart after binging the og episodes 1-50 and hitting postanime depression..

I made the mistake of watching Pocketful of Rainbows

and holy hell is it bad:

18mins in and you can easily tell Bones skimped out on the animation budget and the story is incredibly weak

seeing all the characters I adore being reanimated but at what cost

right now it feels as if I'm watching my cherished members become zombies; husks of their former selves

why
someone looked at this storyboard and thought yup, good to go

this is pure cringe, they turned E7 a series with so much depth and thoughtful meaning behind many elements blended into the themes, characters, hidden plot points into a Shonen hype series that falls so flat that you couldn't fool yourself into thinking that they could stick the landing let alone standing upright

I'm going to bed and I'll rethink about whether I should finish this or not

I just finished rewatching Eureka Seven (1-50) again and I forgot just how much I treasure it

As emotionally destroyed as I am, please if you have the time, consider watching the best anime that was ever made and let me know how you felt about it and what your thoughts are

I can't express in words just how devastated I am knowing that it's over and the hole in my body can't be filled no matter what I do

I love Eureka Seven

and if you don't, any reason why not?

Looks like AMD saw Intel and is trying to capitalize and learn from Intel's mistake by delaying until they can guarantee a stable launch

Personally I see this as a win for consumers as you're more likely to get a higher quality product by either company (AMD's move here is likely to echo in Intel)

Key Takeaways:

  1. If you or someone you know has had any system instability issues with their 13th or 14th gen Intel processor/CPU, GN recommends on immediately filing an RMA with Intel even if a previous one was rejected.
  2. If you're an owner of a 13 or 14th gen, please update the BIOS as soon as you can and keep an eye out for newer microcode patches/AGESA updates from Intel coming in mid-late August 2024.
  3. Please continue to be informed/vigilant when buying second-hand/used Intel 13 and or 14th gen CPUs as you probably don't want to buy a defective CPU.
