Same. Otherwise it's dnscrypt on the router that's gone wonky.

Glossary for non-Australians:

  • Newstart: Unemployment living* allowance paid by the government / aka "The dole".
  • ATSI: Aboriginal and Torres-Strait Islanders (the many indigenous peoples of what is now claimed as 'Australia').

Easy with sudo apt remove --purge --allow-remove-essential --auto-remove systemd:

The predictable failure of things towards the end of apt running the above command. Still in a gnome terminal, but the apt script couldn't even complete due to a bunch of stuff now missing

Uh-oh.. a black vt on reboot, complaining that no inittab found..

It's a talking-head video presentation on a well-known video publishing website.

Given your browser couldn't show anything useful from that webpage, @[email protected] offered a solution: just feed the URL into mpv, which happens to be excellent at playing audio/video from web pages if you also have yt-dlp installed.

Siskin has been working well for some people I know on iPhone.

There used to be some settings you need to tweak, not sure how it is these days:

Monal has also been getting some regular development and is worth trying out.

Huh? Why not use K-9 or Fair Email?

They're both excellent email clients.

LineageOS still phones home to Google for most things.

Do you have a source on this? I thought LineageOS was completely de-googled now.

What'd be cool is if when you enter a URL the lemmy interface lets the poster choose an image or even cropped region from the linked page.
