Parasitoid wasps serve as hosts for the virus, and Lepidoptera serve as hosts for these wasps. The female wasp injects one or more eggs into its host along with a quantity of virus. The virus and wasp are in a mutualistic symbiotic relationship: expression of viral genes prevents the wasp's host's immune system from killing the wasp's injected egg and causes other physiological alterations that ultimately cause the parasitized host to die. Transmission routes are parental.[2]

take what you give

who broadcast a meme to all of lemmy arguing that modern MLs are treacherous murderers who must be defeated in real life?

the meme being posted was "modern MLs are bloodthirsty monsters who will kill you if they ever get in power"

When you view a group as evil, that view tends to result in double standards for behavior, which is what you're doing.

I'm probably going to dip because I'm too mad to be civil right now

$30.50 seems inaccurate. If you're tipping 20% then you ordered at least $150 worth of food lol.

I think competition — actual competition, not "5 megacorps own everything" competition — can be useful in some cases, but keep in mind that competition does not necessarily incentivize good products. With food, for example, competition incentivizes addictive, unhealthy shit. With social media, same thing. With labor, it incentivizes exploitation, because whichever company squeezes the most work out of people for the lowest pay outcompetes everyone else. You can ameliorate these shitty incentive structures by putting workers and communities in charge of production, rather than owners and shareholders who want to maximize profit at the expense of any other metric.
