Palestine news on tiktok. I was under the impression tiktok was a garbage app like Facebook. It's not.

Is there a way within Thunder to search posts (not communities)? (sh.itjust.works)
 

I know I can search for communities using the little magnifying glass, but I'm not sure if there's a way to search for posts (or comments). On the Connect app, once you click "search", there's a mechanism to select whether you want to search posts, communities or comments, and I was wondering if there's a way to do something similar on Thunder. Thanks!

can I block instances or communities via the Thunder app (android)? (sh.itjust.works)
 

I really like Thunder, but I've been using Connect since it allows me to block instances. I'm seeing lots of posts in languages I don't understand, and was hoping to be able to filter them without leaving th app.
I saw in another thread where someone asked this and got a vague reply that it might be possible, but I've gone through the settings, and either I'm blind, or it's just not there. Any tips?
