I’m reading this as housing boom in the 70’s and 80’s, Paris needs new housing, and people are moving to the west.

Theoretically you can lose more than 100%. If you first win 2000% and then lose everything, you’ve technically lost 2100% of your starting capital.

Fair point. I actually am a rando who wandered in and replied to a small part of your comment. Specifically the part that’s not about Filipinos. :p

Stay critical. :)

Blame yourself for tweeting about how fucked up this situation is without elevating the leve of discourse beyond just saying how fucked up it is.

You’re basically saying that no one should ever point out injustice unless they’re actively fixing it. Which is an unnecessarily high burden on anyone wishing to express experiences of injustice. If the only people allowed to share their experiences of injustice are those actively fighting it, you won’t get more fighters, you’ll just get less reports of injustice.

I don’t care that he didn’t “elevate the level of discourse”. Dude’s a UFC fighter. No one is waiting on his hot take on how to fix poverty induced prostitution. It’s sufficient that he shared his experience. Other, more informed, people can piggyback on this observation and provide context and solutions.

Like how you did.

Tbh, I’m okay with exclusive (cosmetic) seasonal content.

Games are expensive. A good online multiplayer game requires a stable revenue source and a huge active player base. Seasonal content is one of less scummy ways to achieve both. It spreads the costs better than milking a small number of whales and it incentivizes the average player to play on the regular.

Imo, losing out on a skin cause you didn’t buy/play a specific season is decent trade off. You don’t need to own everything you want.

Does the underwear cover basic grooming and self care? I.e. do I still need to trim my fingernails, shave, apply sunscreen?

What about the health benefits of staying clean? I mean nice breath is fine, but if I stop brushing will I get cavities? If I get a cut, do I still need to clean the wound to avoid infection?

Gatorade for the win. My life changed when I discovered the healing power of gatorade.

Tbf, it depends. I just bought a pair of converse for 25 bucks. Granted they’re an unpopular color, but hey 25 bucks for a pair of chuck 70s is a good price.

Sounds like something a stalinist would say. Real communism requires the support the international proletariat, which can only be achieved through permanent revolution. Trotsky was on the money.

That’s very pessimistic. It assumes that there is a corporate led reform. Which is unlikely. If it was a grass roots campaign, the call for change would include a weekend proposal from the start. By the time businesses come around to supporting it, the weekend will alredy be defined as 3-work-2-off, or 7-work-3-off.

They do. Also, everyone older than 25 is a boomer.
