They should harness the crazy for good. Make conspiracy theory-sounding stories, but make them factual and get people to take positive action.

"They created chemicals you can inject into the bloodstream that keeps them from getting the Measels."

"The overlords in their golden towers want to tell you who you are and aren't allowed to love."

I have advanced degrees in climatology and geographic modeling, so I feel like I'm allowed to say that yes, anthropogenic climate change is a well-researched and understood process AND that you don't know shit about what expertise other people in this thread have.

Just because your opinion is uneducated doesn't mean mine is.

That was CIA interference.

It's bad, but it doesn't require a military presence.

Are they being sold to Russia directly, or is Russia buying them through an intermediary to skirt around sanctions.

Essentially nation-level straw purchasing.

Having a US military base (that wasn't forcibly installed by the US military) in your country is usually great for a country's security at a fantasic price. Especially if you're a country that's not likely to have an adversarial relationship with the US.

The US isn't likely going to invade or go to war with Romania anytime soon, so having US military thousands of US troops, aircraft, and the world's most advanced missile defense systems placed there offers great security that they're paying for just by being located in a strategically useful position.

How the fuck did they let motherfucking Zoom take over. The video-call equivalent of "Googling" something was to "Skype." When Covid hit, Microsoft screwed the pooch horribly.

My sister is super high ranking at Microsoft, and when she calls the family, she uses Zoom.

My biggest complaint is that you can't save chat logs.

I work in government, and we do a LOT of stuff on Teams, and I'm just waiting for us to get sued because we can't turn over Teams chat logs in Open Records requests.

That's not great advice for people who weren't afraid of law enforcement in the past and are now feeling exposed due to data they already gave away.

It would raise some pretty interesting philosophical questions.
